Well , what ever it is, this column would like to seek the answers or ask further questions on the latest buzz in Pinoy Tinseltown. Well here are the tongue wagging reports from the grapevine.
Let’s hear it from LA, first. Our Starwatch just got back with his latest news. Some Pinoy stars descended to the City of Angels. Who are they?
* ZsaZsa Padilla is spotted in Los Angeles. Deep in grief, she is here with daughter Zia in tow she is having a second opinion for a kidney ailment at Cedar Sinai Hospital. Reports has it that doctor bills are sponsored by Dr. Vicki Belo who is also here for a fashion event.
How true that she has a life –threatening condition? Hope it’s not true.
* Geneva Cruz was around here two weeks ago to visit son 16- year old Heaven who lives with her former hubby Paco Arespacochaga.Paco is directing her MTV for this new recording album produced by GMA Records. She came here for a San Diego club show and will return for another gig in San Diego on September.
How true that she is single again?
* Aga Mulach was spotted In LAX heading to New York with TV 5 executive. No chismis with Aga but it is truly reported that he is running for a political candidacy in his hometown in Bicol region. This is true na true , he is seriously preparing to launch his campaign under the Liberal Party. Another showbiz denizen who wants to participate in the government. What can we say with these political moves?
SEN TITO SOTTO PLAGIARIZED SPEECH FROM BLOGGER?
* And to segue to showbiz politics , the biggest talk of Pinoy Showbiz is Senator Tito Sotto copying a blogger Sarah Pope for his speech, word for word! True or False?
Senator denies he copied his speech from the blogger. Blogger Sarah Pope said ‘he is a thief” for claiming her blog and Sen. Sotto staff admits the speech was lifted from the blog. Who is telling the truth?
It was reported that in Senator Sotto’s emotional privilege speech against the Reproductive Health Bill, he supposedly copied the words verbatim from a blogger in US.
Here is a parcel of Sen Sotto’s speech: “According, to Dr. Natasha Campbell-McBride MD, the use of the pill also causes severe gut dysbiosis. I cannot believe there is such thing as plagiarism in the blog world. It is as if some people has the monopoly of their own words. But the web is huge, and there is really nothing “new” under the sun. What one puts on the web is for public use, from the greatest communication tool, the Internet. We are all guilty of stealing something from the web, even for just printing blogs and articles that belong to someone. The legislations also could not keep up with what is going on in the web where it has no boundaries across the globe. Plagiarism should take a new definition, in my view. If I stole your idea, did I plagerise you. Strange times in the Internet world where we print and copy all the time.

From my understanding Zsa Zsa Padilla is here in LA for Fashion Show. She will be one of the performers at the White Party Fashion Show. The event will be on August 25, 2012 from 5PM-10 PM at Hilton Pasedena. I hope you could see the show.
